Hello crafty friends
I am back with another inspirational card for the new challenge over at bastel-traum's blog and it is all about animals this time.
I went with a stamp by colorado craft company called "Lots of Love" and I am so in love with Anita Jeram's images! I am pretty sure you all know her children's books that took the world by storm. I am so happy I discovered this company that creates stamps of her adorable images!
I decided to color this image with the no-line technique. For this, you stamp the image in a very light hue and color then without creating harsh outlines. I really love the soft look you can achieve with this technique.
Then I decided to stamp the sentiment with embossing ink and emboss it with superfine white embossing powder (this one is perfect for tiny/small detailed images or sentiments). Then I brushed some pigment ink (it's an old ink pad by Mama Elephant; unfortunately it's discontinued... but any light blue pigment ink will work!) over the sky and voilà - there you have an adorable animal card :-)
So I hope you will share your creation with us over at bastel-traum's blog!
Happy crafting!
Hugs,
