Hi crafty friends!
A new month, a new challenge over on bastel-traum's blog! This time it is all about butterflies! For this occasion, I dusted off a pretty old but still very beloved die from Memory box (I think this die has been retired, unfortunately). It is a shape of a heart, built by lots of butterflies of different sizes. The die only cuts the wings, but not the body... so the butterflies will stay put in the paper and shape. Just just have to bend the wings a bit and voilà - there you have a pretty, dimensional eye catcher! :-)
I colored the butterflies with regular watercolors in kind of a rainbow order.
A german sentiment that means "I am thinking of you" finishes off my card design. The card base is a light pastel violet.
Quick and simple - sometimes a card just needs simplicity, right?
